My Actifit Report Card: October 13 2024

Hi everyone,
Today was a slow day. Started with a few calls and waiting for results about my last interviews. Attended a few calls for jobs today, but most of them were a missed hit as they were not what I was looking.

Then in evening I planned to change look of my main blog as the current theme, Blocksy I was using was heavy and making slow performance in SEO.

So I researched a little and got to know about a few wordpress themes like

• Astra WP
• generate press
• elementor hero
• 2023 wordpress theme
• neve

But I felt Astra was the one I had to try, because it had millions of downloads.
Initially I set up a default but then I changed to a template.
It actually messed up and I had to redo everything, took a lot of time. But it was finally worth it.

The look and feel of my blog is now changed, as well the performance is fine because of optimised theme.

It also have a lot of customisation for header as well footer. And I loved that because not all themes provide these options. So If you need a recommendation I say you can try Astra and generate press both.
They have their pro version as well with more customisation but for me free version is kind of enough and will give pro a try some later time.

Later I done some cleanup and optimisation on my server and upgraded a few packages to keep my server updated.

And for health, I was feeling great today. The weather was also nice.
