My Actifit Report Card: August 8 2025

Friday! It is really good to be done with the work week. I have been working and starting this new project, and it has prevented me from weight lifting this week.

Really need to get back to my regular working out schedule. At least today, I did manage to get over ten thousand steps.

There is so much I want to do, but often, there is not enough time or physical strength to get everything done.

I wish we had more time, and it feels like I am just starting the good part of my life, but in reality, I would be lucky to get another thirty years on this planet.

I wish it was another fifty or more years to enjoy the things that we accomplished. But that is very unrealistic, especially the good health part.

At least I am lucky to have a great wife and daughter and son, and I should appreciate all I have.

We had a nice evening together and watched a couple of episodes of Jack Ryan together.

When the day is so exhausting and you have no power left, it is nice to be on the couch together and watch something.

Interesting news today about a potential meeting next Friday between Trump, Putin, and Zelensky in Alaska.

It is hard to believe that a potential peace treaty could be achieved in that senseless war that dragged on for over three years already.

I am glad that I made a decision to move to America when I was nineteen years old. This truly is the land of opportunity.

And staying in Ukraine would have been a giant mistake. No matter what career I could have built there, it would not matter when war came.

A few little things I could have done differently at that time would have made a giant difference and not in a good way...
