My Actifit Report Card: July 29 2025

Big Tuesday for Splinterlands as they have released a new play mode for new players where they can play with foundation set cards and earn more foundation cards and combine them.

Now you can earn gold foil foundation cards, and this is a completely free mode where new players can come in and experience the game as it is at various levels. When you combine and level up cards, they gain new abilities, and the game becomes more fun.

At work today was a busy day where we did a production release. A lot of people were out as it is summer, and people take vacation, so I had to run the whole thing myself.

Thankfully, I dialed the whole process so smoothly that it all went very smoothly. I did have to watch the servers the rest of the day to make sure that everything is working as expected.

After work, our daughter wanted to go and shop at Fred Meyer for ingredients for her favorite dish: Special Caserole.

We got ground beef, sauce, tater tots, frozen corn, frozen mixed vegetables, red onions, green onions, red bell pepper, and a few other ingredients.

Our daughter was bossing me around in the store, but I managed to pick up three bottles of my wife's favorite water, a case of pineapple fanta for when our son visits and a pack of English Breakfast tea.

When we got home, we made the dish with my wife's help. It was really tasty, and I have thoroughly enjoyed eating it.

We just heard that Hawaii has a tsunami warning after an 8.8 earthquake near Kamchatka, Russia.

They have evacuations as ten foot waves are expected that would wrap around the islands and flood coastal areas.

Maui had fires a few years ago now tsunami. Hopefully, the current forecasts hold and waves are closer to one meter and not three meters.

I am glad we are home and safe and not out there in Hawaii, where we visit frequently.

We stayed up later than usual watching the news on Hawaii as we have a strong connection to the islands.
