My Actifit Report Card: January 11 2025

I have once more achieved over ten thousand steps. The new year is going well in terms of steps.

Today, the wife took her mother to an optometrist and picked up my driving glasses. I tried them out for the first time today while driving to Costco. The first time, I was using glasses, and it was a bit uncomfortable and unusual, but everything was a lot sharper.

Sometimes, it takes a bit for your brain to catch up with what your eyes are seeing. Most people compensate without realizing they do until the vision is corrected. The strangeness will pass. (I'm an optician and work in an optemetric clinic in the upper end of Washington state). When summer comes, see if the trees have individual leaves rather than green fuzzy cotton balls!
