Images in this post are from my nighttime Seattle walk. The first image is of a historical building that houses The Rainier Club. This building was built in 1904.
The next image is of Columbia Center, which is seventy-six stories high and is the tallest building in Seattle.
I used to work across the street from Columbia Center and would go eat at their food court.
And this is Seattle Municipal tower where I used to work on the 59th floor.
Across the street is the F5 tower, which was built around an old historical church building.
I wonder if these buildings are mostly empty these days as everyone is working remotely.
This is Seattle City Hall, which has had a big hole in front of it for many years now. There we're multiple development projects that all fell through the last, probably because of COVID.
We were lucky last night and never lost power. On the news, they say that over 600,000 people are without power in Western Washington.
We stayed nice and warm and even went on a nice walk with my wife today.
Our daughter is still sick, so she stayed home today and will be home tomorrow as well.
