A recovery day every now and again should help, do you do any body weight exercise to help with your hiking?

Good question! :-D I try to go to the gym two times a week. But the emphasis there is on “try” :-) In practice I’m glad if I’m able to go twice a month. So I do some squats at home to strengthen the legs, and train my calves as well, on the stairs ;-)
