A Day Full of Hustle, Bikes, Plants, and Plans

A Hectic Start to the Day

Oh my god, it was a hectic day today. I started working on a client who had some work pending because of some construction work going on and we needed to do some landscaping and those stuff. So, we started work today.

I got the guys to start working and it was a hectic day. I was juggling between work and family and then work and then clients and customers and then us. So, it was hectic.

I was at the client's home giving instructions to the workers and I got a customer at the nursery who was waiting for me. I had to take my bike and rush so that I could catch the customer and convince them to buy some plants.

Helping My Brother Buy a Bike

In the afternoon my brother came. My brother was planning to buy a bike, what do you call, a scooter. And he wanted me to accompany him. So we went to a few showrooms.

We visited Bajaj, we visited KTM showroom, we visited Honda, and my brother on his own had visited TVS showrooms. So we saw all the bikes and scooters and EVs that are available in the market and it was a hectic task, it was a confusing thing to try and find some good bikes for my brother.

Nostalgia: My First Scooter Purchase

Selecting a bike to buy is not an easy task as it used to be. I remember way back in 2019 when I bought my bike, my scooter actually, not my bike, it was easier to buy it because there were limited options.

When I visited the showroom, I knew that I wanted to buy a Jupiter scooter and I just had to pick the variant.

There were only two variants, not two, but three variants. One was the classic Jupiter variant, another was a deluxe variant that was high-end and then there was the normal one. I picked the normal one because it fit my budget.

My budget wasn't too high, the classic one costed a bomb and the colors were not so good. The deluxe version was good but the colors were not good and it had a disc brake. I hate disc brakes. I don't like certain brakes, not in my life, not in my bike. So, the only version for me was the normal version.

It took me a few hours to make the payment and get the bike ready for me.

The Overwhelming Choices Today

But nowadays, there are so many variants. When we visited the previous Honda showroom, we had so many variants. There was DO, there was deluxe, there was normal one, there was 125cc, there was 110cc and with different colors, different versions, high-end model, low-end model, mid-range model, etc.

It was a hectic task finding the perfect bike for my brother.

Nursery Calls in the Middle of It All

While my brother was making the payment and getting the papers ready, I got a call from the nursery that one of my friends had visited the nursery to buy some plants for their farm.

I had to rush because time was of the essence and my friend was about to move. So I came to the nursery and I helped them with some of the plants and they were really happy to buy some plants from me.

They have paid in advance. Tomorrow I'll have to deliver them to their location.

Wrapping Up the Day

Tomorrow I have a lot of things to do. I will be busy tomorrow as well. Hopefully it will not be as crazy as it was today. And soon I will be traveling to Pune for my client. Hopefully I will buy some good plants for them.

As of now I am at my home and about to go to bed. I am tired. I am exhausted. And I need at least 8 hours or 9 hours of sleep so that I can rest, recover, and return to work tomorrow.

Well, before you guys go, answer my question. Which is your favorite bike? Do you prefer bikes, or scooters, or cars? And if you prefer any one of them, do you like the petrol version, the diesel version, or the new and latest EVs that are electric vehicles?

As of now, I use a petrol scooter and a bike. Hopefully, in the next two years, I will buy an EV. So, do you prefer EVs, guys?
