(On my way to the office on Thursday, I managed to snap a photo of a Lufthansa Airbus A380 once again. Unfortunately, the picture isn't all that sharp, but I am always impressed by how such a colossus can transport us through the air from point A to point B.)
Hi Actifitters,
after publishing yesterday's post, I started my workout. I had actually only intended to go for a recovery ride on the bike, but something inside me drove me to do an hour of core stability training beforehand. Even though I’d slept poorly the night before and felt out of sorts—thanks to all that beer—the workout went well. Suddenly, I felt motivated and eager to do more than just pedal for half an hour. All in all, I ended up getting in an hour and 45 minutes of exercise, which I’m really happy about today.
To top it all off, our washing machine broke down yesterday. Since I’m not technically inclined and didn't want to shell out 200 to 300 euros for repairs, I simply ordered a new one, which is not that much more expensive. I plan to take the old one apart this weekend with an acquaintance to see if anything can be salvaged. As for the laundry, I just walked over to my mom’s place yesterday and washed it there—just like in the good old days.
Mission 80 (Day 28 = 89.1 kg / Goal = 80.0 kg / Initial weight = 90.0 / Total loss = 0.9 kg)
Today, the scale showed 400 grams more than yesterday—which makes absolutely no sense. I exercised and definitely didn't consume more calories than I burned. I’m curious to see if I’ll ever be able to unlock the secrets of my body.
Since I slept quite well again last night, my metrics have gone up significantly. So, I can really go at it harder today. Let's see what Zwift has in store for me. Otherwise, push-ups are on the agenda again.
