Actifit RC: Jan 1st '26 - Alive and Thriving Wishes for a Year
The new year begins with a wonderful sunny day, although quite cold, but as the hours pass the atmosphere warms up and temperatures rise to the point of making walking very pleasant.
Given the night's festivities, there aren't many people around, and the few who have ventured out into the street wander the city almost like zombies.
On this holiday, all activities are closed also because there would be no one able to work after celebrating and eating a lot the previous evening and night.
The young people at home got up very late and preferred to significantly delay the New Year's Eve lunch we had with leftovers from the previous evening's food and avoid eating the first course.
A lunch with lots of vegetables and a generous ration of meat that, however, satisfied the limited appetite left after so many hearty banquets over a long holiday week.
Now all that remains is to celebrate the Epiphany while the day after tomorrow there will be another Sunday. It's a time when there are few working days and they also have significantly reduced activity thanks to the festive atmosphere.
And as the hours pass, the day draws to a close. I greet all the extraordinary blockchain pioneers of Hive and wish them a new year of Alive and Thriving, hoping that winter will end soon and that there will be a long summer.

Il nuovo anno inizia con una meravigliosa giornata di sole anche se abbastanza fredda ma col passare delle ore l'atmosfera si riscalda e le temperature si alzano al punto da rendere molto gradevole il passeggiare.
Dato i festeggiamenti della notte non ci sono molte persone in giro e le poche che si sono avventurate per la strada vagano per la città quasi come degli zombie.
In questo giorno di festa tutte le attività sono chiuse anche perché non ci sarebbe nessuno in grado di lavorare dopo aver festeggiato e mangiato tanto la sera e la notte precedente.
I giovani di casa si sono alzati molto tardi e hanno preferito ritardare molto il pranzo del primo dell'anno che abbiamo fatto con gli avanzi del cibo della serata precedente ed evitando di mangiare il primo piatto.
Un pranzo con molte verdure e abbondante razione di carne che però ha saziato il poco appetito rimasto dopo tanti abbondanti banchetti di una lunga settimana festiva.
Ora non resta che festeggiare la befana mentre dopodomani ci sarà un'altra domenica. È un periodo in cui ci sono poche giornate lavorative e sono anche con attività decisamente ridotta grazie all'atmosfera festiva.
E mentre le ore passano il giorno si avvia verso alla conclusione io saluto tutti gli straordinari pionieri della blockchain di Hive e gli auguro di vivere un anno nuovo Alive and thriving auspicando che l'inverno finisca presto e che ci sia una lunga estate.
