A dullish day : My Actifit Report Card: November 6 2026
First thing this morning we awoke to find that our tap water had been turned off! 🤔
Not a good start to the day as I like a cup of tea first thing 😕. Actually, we do have bottled water at home so this wasn't a problem 😅.
A call to the local council informed us that there had been a burst water main locally in our area. No showers for us then! 🤣
Later in the afternoon, on our way out in the car, we passed the site of the burst water pipe on the opposite side of the town bypass. Quite a mess, closing the opposite carriageway completely. Water was flowing again when we returned a few hours later. Phew! 🙄
The high pressure anti-cyclone that is over the UK right now is giving us a rather dull outlook. Not much rain but a continously cloudy sky.
Halloween is now over but I spotted a creepy looking tree branch sticking out of a pond, that looks like the hand of some zombie creature! 🤣
