I took another walk into Goffs Park this afternoon to make use of the nice warm sunshine.

The scenery around the lake was beautiful. Water levels are still low but recovering now with rain fall back to moderate levels.
While walking in the woodland along the perimeter path I passed a patch of ground where cyclamen is growing.

I have taken pictures of this plant recently when only the flowers were visible. Leaves have appeared now and looking very healthy indeed in the sunlight filtering through the trees.
There are many clumps of this plant here, probably planted here by someone. I don't think they are spread naturally here and they lookas if they are arranged around the tree trunks.
