This totem is a good friend! 😆.
If my route takes me past this memorial to Robin, I always stop for a break to take in the peace and quiet. I have no idea who Robin is or indeed was but that is the name sculpted into the back of this totem.
As you may have guessed, I took a mountain bike ride today after a longish break from riding. It was easier than I expected and very enjoyable on this very warm late September day.
Buchan Park lake was beautiful in the sunshine and absolutely calm with no breeze at all.
Forecasts were predicting 27°C and it did feel quite hot when I reached Tilgate Lake.
I have a feeling this incredible weather will not last too much longer. I think we are in for a very wet autumn and winter. We'll see! ☔️🌧🌨
