
The resident cygnet and last remaining one of the clutch produced this year at the Ifield Mill Pond is beginning to grow it's white plumage.
That is a wonderful sight. As I reported earlier this year, one of the parent birds died. The other parent is still here and stays close to its offspring.

The lake is looking very nice in this early autumn sunshine, and always a really nice place to unwind for a bit.


The suspended boardwalk offers some good vantage points to view wildlife across the lake.
