It's official, today was the hottest June day in the UK since records began. The record was broken several times over the day across the country with the highest recorded temperature of 36.1°C in a town called Gosport. It did indeed feel very hot as I was out in Guildford again.
The heatwave is set to continue over the weekend and then cooler conditions will be spreading from the west. This will be very welcome indeed because we in the UK are not accustomed to this 😀. It may seem normal to some people around the world. Bring on the rain and wind again 😂.

Since today was the hottest day. How did people manage to protect themselves? You personally, i hope you're safe?
We in Pacific Northwest are also not accustomed to the weather we are having. The high today was 85 or 29 Celsius. No worries it is back to fifties this weekend though :)
