Ifield Mill Pond :My Actifit Report Card: April 23 2026

Ifield Mill Pond was looking nice this morning. We went along to look for the swans which are nesting there on one of the many small islands in this lovely park. I could see one of the swans sitting on the nest but too difficult for a picture. The other parent swan was lurking close by on the water. I think swan pairs take turns sitting on the nest during incubation. We will keep an eye on these over the coming days and weeks for signs of the cygnets when they appear. 😁
