A stroll around the lake : My Actifit Report Card: April 21 2026
Walking around the lake today at Worth Park I noted some repair work to the bank where a partial collapse had happened. It looked neat and tidy with the wire cage type reinforcement.
I love wild flowers of all types and these wonderful primroses are a good example of a common wild flower of spring.
Animals around lakes are also interesting apart from the ducks and geese which are currently nesting. I could see some canada geese sitting on nests on one of the islands here but undergrowth was too dense to get a picture.
I spotted a turtle sitting in the sun on a tree trunk. Can you spot it in the following picture?
I also took a high magnification shot of it at 30x with my mobile phone. The light was good so it turned out ok 😅.
Not a bad short walk today in still chilly conditions with the northerly breeze.
