My Actifit Report Card: April 16 2026
I spotted another fir tree with buds. This one has green buds. The tree looks remarkably similar to the one with red buds that I photographed a few days ago(photo included here).
There are differences in the needles and therefore a different species but both trees are of similar size and shape. The colour of the new buds is the thing that really tells them apart!

That's very interesting my friend, do you think they could possibly be male and female of the same species of tree?😇
That's possible, they are situated about 100 meters apart on open meadow and probably planted there so who knows?
