My Actifit Report Card: January 15 2026

Rain, rain, rain! It must have rained practically all day long! There were flooded roads everywhere today as I drove around town. I even received a soaking when I went out for a short walk.

I hope it is drier tomorrow as I'm driving further out of town. I think it will be fine but with a chance of a rain shower later in the afternoon. We'll see!

With all this unsettled weather, I have been thinking of what the spring conditions will be like. If last year is anything to go by, the rain stopped early in March and didn't return until mid summer. The woodland tracks dried so hard that riding was uncomfortable on rough ground. So I could be out in the forests again on my mountain bike sooner rather than later. I hope so!
