During a family trip to the beach today, I spotted a pretty little wild flower growing at the foot of a concrete wall. I have a habit of looking out for plants that I haven'tseen before, so I investgated. At first glance, it just looked like any other dying weed on the verge.
As I got closer , I could see the very small flowers, in amongst the dead heads. At ground level there were healthy green leaves, so it must have plenty of moisture where it was growing.
Later, we were lucky to spot a few WW2 RAF aircraft passing by as part of the VJ day celebrations at Eastbourne, further down the coast. The incredible sound and sight of a solitary Spitfire flying close to the shore was breathtaking!

Beautiful flowers @davidthompson57. I believe we should stand still a bit more with the small things nature is giving us... !wine !HUG !HOPE
Thanks for your reply @svanbo . Yes, I agree. We should all just pause for a moment more often and look at what is right under our noses!
