We had a few thundery downpours this afternoon. It was quite a surprise to hear the bangs and see the flashes of lightning. But the rain was refreshing! We have had such a long period of dry weather that the ground has become quite solid.

After visiting a garden centre today to meet family members, I went shopping before the school run again, but this time dodging the rain showers! 😆
