Worth Park has a huge variety of trees and shrubs. There are many fir tree varieties too including some splendid examples of the Giant Sequoia. These are only modest size but still impressive to stand under.
However, today, I want to talk about another impressive tree. The Cedar of Lebanon. There are three of these trees in a row here. Looking magnificent standing on their own. Creating a huge canopy of green while most of the other trees have lost all their leaves.
At the base the trunks are a curious tangle of multiple branches, almost as if the entire tree has sunk into the ground by a few meters!
