To my surprise, the Queen Square fountains were active today. It was a nice surprise to see this. Each jet has a light under it, which adds to the effect. You can freely walk into the fountains if you wish. In summer, children often do!
The anticyclonogloom continues. 😫
Don't get me wrong, this is a good chance to enjoy nature in a wonderful stage of the annual cycle.
This is both good and bad. On the one hand, we have dry conditions, but the cloudy sky is so oppressive. The dry conditions however provide a good opportunity to get out and enjoy the countryside. 😁

You are dry; we are wet! Mist and rain today that you could not see Sumas Mountain nor Mt. Baker! It was solid!
A nice picture there. Do the lights change color or stay the same?
Good job with your 6503 @actifit steps for the day. Take care!
Yes, the lights do change colour. They look amazing when it's fully dark.

That has broken today! We got off the plane last Wednesday from Mexico to heavy fog and then greeeeeeeeey which was rather; well, meh!
Last night we had a fantastic sunset as it broke driving home from Winchester to our home in Berkshire.
I haven't seen the change yet, but that sunset sounds great. What a way to break the gloom!
