Good day guys.
Here's my report for yesterday, got 10k+ steps as usual.

Did some small research on bats. As I got interested from seeing them few days ago.
Bats are just like rats/mouse with wings that resemble modified human hands with flexible skin membranes, bats are the only mammals that can actually fly. They are often nicknamed 'heroes of the night' and they are essential to the environment because they pollinate over 300 fruit species, including bananas and mangoes, and eat thousands of insects every night, protecting crops. And I think that's why they always move at dusk/twilight. There are over 1,400 species of them in the world, ranging in size from the tiny Kitti's hog-nosed bat to flying foxes with some having six-foot wingspans. Some species have exceptionally long lifespans as they can live to be over 40 years old. They also have belly buttons, give birth to kids called 'pups' and live in colonies. Despite their significance, a number of species are in danger of going extinct because of habitat loss and white-nose syndrome, a fungus that has killed millions of bats.
I hope you've learnt something new today, see you tomorrow.
