My Actifit Report Card: October 31, 2026

On the way to the supermarket this evening I saw a night carnival. Bright lights, snacks and artsy things inside tents, live music, a ferris wheel.

Pasar malam changes location every month. I've seen it on an empty lot right next to a nearby hospital before.

This month it's happening just across the neighborhood Indomaret, where I often go to get coffee.

Or bread.

Or both.

It's so easy to get good coffee in Jakarta that it's often overlooked. As early as 7 am and as late as 10 pm, we can just walk anywhere there's a green point sign and get good, quality coffee for an affordable price.

They're pretty standard everywhere. Not too cheap, but definitely not as fancy as a Starbucks cup.

The one I'm getting was an Iced Caramel Macchiato for Rp25.000 (about 31.25 HIVE). I got the takeaway bottled Palm Sugar coffee too for Rp18.000 (around 22.5 HIVE).
