[PL/ENG] My Actifit Report Card: September 19 2026

Poranek spędziliśmy relaksacyjnie, bo na plaży. Potem postanowiliśmy dogonić resztę ekipy, która wybierała się na Tibidabo, i niestety ale tu Hiszpania nas pokonała.

We spent a relaxing morning at the beach. Afterwards, we decided to catch up with the rest of the crew who were heading to Tibidabo, and unfortunately, this is where Spain defeated us.

Pisałam już, że nie lubię komunikacji miejskiej w Barcelonie? Metro jest ponure, dość straszne i okropnie w nim gorąco. Jak mamy czas dotarcia spacerem do danej destynacja około 30 minut, to metrem pokazuję nam 23. W wielu przypadkach nie ma więc kompletnie sensu, wolę iść piechotą i podziwiać miasto, niż jeździć tymi dusznymi tunelami.

Have I mentioned before that I don't like public transport in Barcelona? The metro is gloomy, rather scary, and horribly hot inside. When walking to a given destination takes us around 30 minutes, the metro shows us 23. In many cases, it makes complete no sense, so I prefer to go on foot and admire the city rather than ride in those stuffy tunnels.

Tibidabo jest zbyt daleko więc tym razem nie mieliśmy raczej wyboru, ale i tak podróż zajęła nam ponad godzinę i była mocno uciążliwa. Wiecie, my z wózkiem, więc windami, bo schody ruchome nie dla nas. Nie tylko Rambla jest rozkopana - metro pod nią również, a właśnie tam musieliśmy się przesiąść w inną kolejką. Oznaczało to konieczność przeciskania się w mniej więcej 3-milionowym tłumie. Koszmar.

Tibidabo is too far away, so this time we didn't really have a choice, but the trip still took us over an hour and was quite a hassle. You know, us with a stroller, so using elevators because escalators are out of the question for us. It's not just La Rambla that's torn up—the metro station underneath it is too, and that's exactly where we had to transfer to another line. This meant having to squeeze through a crowd of roughly 3 million people. A nightmare.

A Tibidabo? Jest tam ładnie, widoki super, bardziej malowniczo niż na Montjuic. Jest też dużo atrakcji w postaci parku rozrywki, co oznacza, że jest dużo bardziej tłoczno. Ogólnie - podobało mi się, ale biorąc pod uwagę czas dojazdu i cenę biletu na funicular, to nie wiem, czy nie byłoby lepiej zostać na plaży, zwłaszcza, że dotarliśmy za póżno, by spotkać resztę Hive Festowej ekipy.

What about Tibidabo? It's nice there, the views are great, more picturesque than on Montjuïc. There are also plenty of attractions in the form of an amusement park, which means it's a lot more crowded. Overall—I liked it, but considering the travel time and the price of the funicular ticket, I don't know if it wouldn't have been better to stay at the beach, especially since we arrived too late to meet the rest of the Hive Fest crew.
