Do you remember Christian Eriksen? Well, for the records he is a Danish footballer who had played for several top clubs during his playing career like Ajax, Tottenham, Inter Milan and Brentford. He also played for my darling Manchester United before leaving the club as a free agent.
His last point of call was Wolfsburg, a German second-tier side. News has it that he has finally retired from football. Eriksen, now 34, had at some point in his career collapsed as a result of cardiac arrest during Denmark's opening European Championship group match against Finland in Copenhagen in 2021.
The 151-cap international have now called it a day in his football career. We wish him all well in his future endeavours.
