My Actifit Report Card: August 30 2026
Five goals and the captain grabbing a hat trick. What a way to respond to the MKM Stadium disaster by newly promoted Hull City last weekend.
Manchester United needed a positive response following their poor showing against Hull City last week. United who also had another new comers to entertain but this time at Old Trafford.
It was a match many looked forward to see Michael Carrick's men to redeem themselves. It lived up to its expectations really as Ipswich Town wasted no time to tell United that they meant business. In a space of 29 minutes Leif Davis of Ipswich Town had scored leaving United to respond quickly, to avoid what happened to them last week.
Captain Bruno Fernandez stepped up and got the equalizer and United ended the day with five goals against Ipswich Town who managed to pull two goals back (5-2).
Bruno Fernandez bagged a hat trick in the process and United registered their first win of the season with many goals on the day.
