My Actifit Report Card: August 28 2026
The EPL has entered its week two. Only one match was played on the day with the rest to be played on Saturday and Sunday.
In the only match of the day, Manchester City roasted Crystal Palace (1-4) away at Selhurst Park.
Top scorer last season Erling Haaland scored twice on the night with Rayan Cherki also scoring a double to make it 4 goals for City.
Manchester City have now made it two Premier League wins out of two under Enzo Maresca. However, Crystal Palace are without a point after suffering back-to-back defeats. Last week was a (2-0) defeat by Everton away.
It is still early to hit the panic button. Everyone expects the Eagle's new coach Pierre Sage to bounce back quickly from those defeats so as to avoid relegation battles towards the end of the league.
