My Actifit Report Card: August 26 2026
The champions league 2nd leg playoff between Olympique Lyonnais vs Fenerbahce in France turned into some melee following the ugly incident that played out at the end of the game.
Fenerbahce won the game (3-2) on aggregate after the first leg had ended (1-1). Former Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi was at the centre of celebrations that turned into a brawl following the Turkish team victory on the night.
With that (3-2) aggregate victory, the Turkish side secured their place in the Champions League for the first time since 2008-09.
The draws will be made on Thursday to seed the teams for the group stage games.
