My Actifit Report Card: August 4 2026

This year's Commonwealth games otherwise known as and called Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games have come and gone with Team Nigeria finishing 7th on the log.

Australia topped the medals table having garnered 171 medals with 70 gold ; England came second with 110 medals. Canada came third with 62 medals while India came 4th with 39 medals (13 Gold and 17 Silver).

The other standings on the medals table saw Scotland coming 5th with also 39 medals (13 Gold and 9 silver). New Zealand came 6th with a total of 36 medals. Nigeria, like I said earlier came 7th on the table with 24 medals.

With Team Nigeria's 7th placed finish, Nigeria thus became the highest-ranked African nation at the Games, ahead of traditional rivals South Africa and Kenya. South Africa came 11th on the table.
