My Actifit Report Card: July 31 2026
Women's Africa Cup of Nations is currently going on in Morocco. Nigerian is the current champions. However, the Super Falcons are at the brink of crashing out of the tournament as they lost their opening game against tournament debutants Malawi by (3-2).
Zambia who are also in group C alongside Nigeria however crushed their opponent with an emphatic 6-0 demolition of Egypt. Now they'll face Nigeria who desperately needs a win.
A defeat by Zambia would mark Nigeria’s first-ever successive losses in the WAFCON group stage and leave the defending champions - Super Falcons on the brink of becoming the first title holders to crash out in the group phase, should Malawi also defeat Egypt.
These unwanted outcome will negatively impact Nigeria's chances of heading to 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil.
