The England's last-16 World Cup game against co-hosts Mexico was delayed by one hour owing to severe weather around the Azteca Stadium. But once the game began Mexico came all.out smoking.

The first half ended in the Three Lions leading by (2-1) and after the restart they added yet another goal to put the game out of the reach of the Mexicans. As all were thinking that England was home and dry, Jarell Quansah was then sent off after 54 minutes for a high challenge on Mexican Jesus Gallardo. Soon Mexico got a penalty after some VAR review and then scored h ensuing penalty to bring the scoreline to a respectable figure (3-2).
With that victory over Mexico, England have set up a quarter-final against Norway.
That's it for now. Thanks for reading up to this point. Until next time, I say, keep exercising.
