My Actifit Report Card: June 27 2026
Portugal survived a late scare to draw goalless with group leader Colombia in a match many had expected the Portuguese to show superiority but the reverse was the case. Despite the outcome of that match Colombia held on to top the group with Portugal finished second.
Meanwhile, DR Congo brushed aside a hapless Uzbekistan team (3-1) to also secure qualification to the round of 32. That is very important to DR Congo as they qualified for the round of 32 for the first time with their maiden tournament win. They will now face England on Wednesday.
Austria and Algeria played out a thrilling (3-3) encounter which result was able to see both teams take up the second and third slots and earn a round of 32 qualitication.
Finally Argentina crushed Jordan (3-1) to top group J with all three points. They had Lionel Messi scoring one of the goals on the night from the bench.
