My Actifit Report Card: June 20 2026

It is not raining for the national men's football tram.of Tunisia - the Cattage Eagles but it is pouring. They sacked their head coach after the AFCON for poor performance in the tournament and appointed Sabri Lamouchi who took them to the world cup. Sabri Lamouchi was sacked immediately after their first match when the Cattage Eagles suffered a (5-1) defeat to Sweden. The one they had just appointed - the ex-Saudi Arabia boss Herve Renard have now suffered a heavy defeat as they lost (4-0) to Japan. Tunisia is therefore officially out of the world cup.

I had expected Sweden to put up a better performance against ground leaders the Netherlands but they crumbled easily and conceded (5-1). That has now paved way to Japan to take up the second place in the group although they are tied on 4 points with group leaders the Netherlands.

Curacao bounced back from their (7-1) thrashing by Germany to earn their first ever World Cup point after a remarkable performance from Miami FC goalkeeper Eloy Room. He made a record 15 saves thereby equalling the USA goalkeeper Tim Howard's record for the most saves in a World Cup game. Tim Howard made 15 saves against the Belgian national football men's team in 2014 in a match that went to extra time.
