My Actifit Report Card: June 14 2026
Greetings my friends and all lovers of physical activities all over the world. Welcome to my Actifit Report for Sunday the 14/6/2026. Finally Africa had something to cheer about in the ongoing FIFA World Cup co-hosted by Mexico, Canada and the USA.
The game between Ecuador and Ivory Coast was poised to end in a stalemate - a goalless draw until Amad Diallo was introduced by the Ivorian coach. He wasted no time to poke home the only goal of the match, thus ensuring that the Elephants of Ivory Coast won (1-0) on the night. That was a bright side for Africa as none of its representatives has been able to pick up maximum points.
Later in the wee hours of the day another representative from Africa - Tunisia were pummelled (5-1) by Sweden.
Oh Curacao! It was a baptism of fire for them as Germany ran riot in their match against them. Having scored first in the game, everyone felt that the Germans will roll over Caracao easily. However, the German's lead barley lasted 6 minutes before Caracao pulled one back to level the game on (1-1).
Before both sets of players could walk out for half time Germany had scored two other goals to extend their lead (3-1). And as game resumed for the second half, four other goals were scored by the Germans. In effect they spelt "Curacao" with goals. The game finally ended (7-1).
