In this post, we will be giving you some posts curated by @brofi that caught our attention. We are not quantity but quality based humour, weird knowledge, diversity, project updates and we don't mind lengthy posts at all, however, we are looking for more than just words.
You earn the BRO curation by holding bro, the more you have, the more you get. Still, we look out for quality and not shit posts. Holding Bro doesn't guarantee you votes if you do not give quality material. Without further delay, in no particular order, here are some posts that caught our eye over the past week:
Most of the time, I walk around the block of homes in the contemporary area of town. The homes here are modest and occupied by young families that have school-age children.
Did I tell you already that my home was one of the first to be built in the area and the very first home on our block?
I would say that most of the front yards are not 'landscaped gardens'. But walking through the streets here is wonderful! It puts a smile on your face!
Turmoil in the background looked as if it's receding. I accomplished this ethereal fractal scene with one of three pure fractal I created in the advanced fractal rendering program, Apophysis 7X. The fractal is titled "Shards of Peach", and I used the Variation "Separation" to achieve the sunlight effect. I then purposely rendered it on a transparent background to be combined with other fractals or different type images.
When we go to marriage or other grand celebrations, she usually wears some gorgeous outfit along with gold jewelries, but this was the final dinner as part of the 11th day ritual of my friend's father-in-law, about which I mentioned in this post. Usually the occasion sets our mode, and we are a bit conservative and traditional in this matter and not the "wear whatever you want" type. I usually don't wear any ornaments and kept them long back, but here many gents love to wear gold chains, matching as a statement piece to complement even a formal outfit. For me decent clothing is the answer to all occasion, after all who looks at us, when the lady shines !!! Since this was a tribute ceremony, she decided to wear a simple traditional saree and that even did not go unnoticed - wow, the saree is simply elegant - from where did you get this ?
When you work, they pay you according to the value you render. You are the value and they’re going to pay you the amount of value you offer. At that time that is what your value is worth but if saved the value of that money will depreciate. Money is just a way to reward you for the value rendered and money itself is not valuable, which is why it is important to use our money to buy things that increase in value not things that decrease in value because we as humans also decrease in value and the older you get less valuable you become.
What bothers me the most is the scandalous content that goes viral—especially from influencers. Once they stop being relevant or trending, they often look for ways to get back in the spotlight by creating controversy, without thinking about the consequences. I don’t even know who started the trend of public apology videos. Yes, people used to apologize publicly in the past, but it was done through official press releases or televised interviews, and there was a proper process: first acknowledging the wrongdoing, then promising to do better.
I’m not sure if she understood what she said, but it was so clear to me. And in that split second of reflection, I realized it was so easy for me to let go of material things. I really am in no way attached to the things I own at the moment. I could have this pair of shoes today and tomorrow; I would be giving them out because I don’t need them anymore. I could have this dress today, and tomorrow, when it serves me no purpose, I give it out to someone who needs it. And those are just material things, so what about the immaterial ones?
