Good afternoon Hivers, I hope you are having an excellent day.

Today I want to talk about one of the most important parks that we can get to see in Villa de Leyva, and that I recommend visiting, just as I recommend visiting museums that can give us samples of the culture where we are visiting.

To get to this place we have to start in the central square of the town, and go in the direction of the church, as this park is located in the back and given the area, does not have many attractions for tourists.

The first thing we can see when we arrive at the park are several sculptures made of metal and that refers to different moments, being the one that caught my attention the one that refers to a small fight between friends sitting.

Each of the most important sculptures are located in one of the corners of the park, but we can also get other smaller sculptures in other places.

In the middle of the square we can find the bust of one of the most important heroes of Colombia, which is to be expected in most Latin American cities.

This park makes a contrast with those colonial areas that are touristy and that we can get just 2 blocks away, and since it is on the way to the market square, you can see that it is made so that citizens can have a place to sit and rest a little.

Buenas tardes Hivers, espero que estén teniendo un excelente día.

Hoy les quiero hablar de uno de los parques las importantes que podemos conseguir en Villa de Leyva, y que recomiendo visita, tal como recomiendo visitar museos que puedan darnos muestras de la cultura a donde estamos visitando.

Para poder llegar a este lugar tenemos que comenzar en la plaza central del pueblo, y vamos en dirección a la iglesia, ya que este parque se encuentra en la parte trasera y que dada la zona, no tiene muchas atracciones para los turistas.

Lo primero que podemos ver al llegar al parque son varias esculturas hechas con metal reclicado y que hace referencia a diferentes momentos, siendo el que más me llamó la atención el que se refiere a una pequeña pelea entre amigos sentados.

Cada una de las esculturas más importantes se encuentran en una de las esquinas del parque, pero también podemos conseguir otras esculturas más pequeñas en otros lugares.

En el medio de la plaza podemos conseguir el busto de uno de los próceres más importante de Colombia, lo cual es esperable en la mayoría de las ciudades de Latinoamérica.

Este parque hace un contraste con aquellas zonas coloniales que sonas turísticas y que podemos conseguir a apenas 2 cuadras, y dado que está en vía a la plaza de mercado, se ve que está hecho para que los ciudadanos puedan tener un lugar para sentarse a descansar un poco.
