It's Wednesday, I know, but can we pretend it's Throwback Thursday? 😆
Sorry friends, I just can't wait another day.
It's just I've been browsing Hive earlier, reading posts, and engaging with fellow creators, and suddenly I stumbled upon two beautiful beach posts.. One from @heymariel and another from @nesbi94.
Both were all about the beaches.
Just looking at their photos makes me realize something... I miss going to the beach. 🥺
The nearest one from our place is 34 kilometers away, far enough that you won't just decide to go there without a reason, an occasion, or someone dragging you out of the house.
So most days, the beach remains a beautiful thought instead of a destination.
But seeing their posts made me miss the sound of the waves.
So now, even if it's not yet Thursday, I'm officially declaring this my early TBT post. 😅
Coz even if I can't go on the beach today, at least I can look back on my past beach moments and reminisce.
• Binurong Point, Catanduanes

The day I went to Binurong Point in Catanduanes wasn't exactly the perfect adventure. In fact, it was raining. (Of course, it had to rain on the day I decided to explore one of the most scenic spots on the island. 😕)
We had to walk from the road and hike through a trail for about 20 to 30 minutes, covering 1 to 2 kilometers.
Can you imagine hiking in the rain? The trail was slippery, and every step felt like a mini challenge.
But still... I felt determined to reach it no matter what.
And there I was, smiling, sitting on the rocks as if I didn't almost slip several times on the way up. 😂
But it's worth it when I see the dramatic rocky coastline, and that expansive ocean behind me that makes me calm.
• Bogtong, Rapu-Rapu

My first time at Bogtong, Rapu-Rapu was when my cousin invited me to join their family trip.
There we ride a RORO boat.
The house we stayed at was right in front of the shore. So I was so happy seeing the sea every morning, hearing the waves, and smelling the salty air. 🥰
And every afternoon before sunset, we'd stay at the shore, talk about life, play, and other times, simply sit there.
Oh, how I miss that moment. No rush, no pressure. Just the sea, the breeze, and the good company. 🐱
• Guinanayan Beach

This Guinanayan beach is also in Rapu-Rapu. But it's like a hidden paradise coz the moment we arrived there, it was almost exclusive, as if the whole beach was reserved just for us.
It's like a virgin island, the kind that hasn't been discovered by many.
The place was so clean and naturally beautiful that every direction was like a treasure.
There, we enjoyed discovering starfish (lots of them), colorful pebbles, and the Instagrammable corners.
It's one of those places that makes you grateful to be there. ☺️
• Marigondon, Pio Duran

There was a time in my life when my days were spent traveling, meeting people, and teaching sign language to the deaf people.
Back then, I was volunteering, using my time to help them learn and communicate.
One of the places our volunteer work brought us to was here in Marigondon, Pio Duran.
And every time we traveled there, we could always see the beauty of the world. Hihi
The coastal road revealed the deep blue sea. It's a postcard-like scene, where you can't help but stop and admire the view.
• Bagasbas Beach

Unlike the other beaches, this Bagasbas Beach is one of the scariest beaches I've encountered in my entire life of swimming and beach-hopping.
It has strong waves that are actually fun at first, especially for an adventurer like me. It will push you back to the shore while doing some tumbling. 😂
I remember my aunt before, trying to balance herself with every wave. We couldn't stop laughing seeing her. 😆
But just when we were laughing the loudest, a huge wave suddenly pulled my sister and me toward the deeper part.
The strong current drags us, and before we can recover, another wave comes and pushes us underwater.
Imagine laughing hard one second, then boom! You're suddenly underwater.
We tried to swim up but the next wave pulled us again.
As in no time to breathe.
For a moment, we honestly thought we'd drowned. But thankfully, we swam as fast as we could, until our toes finally touched sand again.
That moment was unforgettable.
Bagasbas Beach is beautiful, but scary.

Wooh!
Reminiscing about those old beach memories makes me smile.
On the other hand, I realized how easy it was for me before to visit the beach anytime I wanted.
But time really flies fast.
Now that I have toddlers and a husband, things have changed.
Beach trips become less of a priority.
Still, those beach days are one of my treasures.
Can't wait to visit the shore and make new memories.
Until my next story...
Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸

Gosh, beaches after beaches, haha. And nakakamiss din naman talaga mag beach, esp if it has this kind of amazing sceneries. 😍🌼
Diba, miss mo din? Tara na nga, magdagat na tayo huhu
WOW! I love visiting the beach tok and I hope that one day I will visit the beach.
