GTA: San Andreas | LSPD Officer Lopez Patrolling at Night in Los Santos | # Shift-1

Hey, what's up mates. I'm really happy to be back as always. I hope you are all doing well in your lives. Welcome to this Gaming Photography post about Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (Classic Edition) and this roleplay that I've done using some features of a police simulation mod known as SAPD:FR v 4.0.

Summary

As I always say, how can we not enjoy this era of gaming, when there are so many mods or modifications for our most beloved video games, which often expand their features and stories? For example, by using the SAPD:FR (San Andreas Police Department : First Response) police simulation mod, which adds many police simulation features to the game, giving us a whole new world of gameplay possibilities.

Well, I'll start by talking about this police roleplay, which was inspired by many action movies set in Los Angeles, where the police officers are usually of Mexican or South American origin. Our officer's name is Simon Lopes, 34 years old and a native of Los Santos, with several years of experience as an agent of the LSPD (Los Santos Police Department). During this shift he was assigned to patrol the area of El Corona, Mullholland and part of Verona Beach, the first two areas being two highly dangerous neighbourhoods due to the presence of many criminal gangs such as Los Ballas, Los Santos Vagos and Aztecas.

The Shift Started from Verona Beach.

From a standard LSPD patrol car, which in this case is nothing more than a Sentinel adapted by the Los Santos police, I started patrolling Verona Beach.

Attending a problem of illicit substances

As I was patrolling Verona Beach, and then as I was about to leave the Verona area and head towards the Mullholland area, there was a fierce gun battle between members of the Ballas gang and a drug dealer, which is why I had to attend the gun battle and placate the gang members.

As a result, two Ballas were killed and the dealer was also killed in action.

Just Eating a Hot Dog at the Beach

Knowing that the shift would be a long one, before arriving at Mullholland I decided to go for a Chilli Dog just outside Verona Beach. You know, if it's a long shift it's best to always have something in your stomach, as it's good to remember that in Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, there is a hunger feature, which affects various player stats in the game.

Responding to a Call from HQ for a Domestic Problem

On the way to Mullholland I received a call from HQ to attend a domestic violence incident, which I attended and was able to assist other LSPD officers who arrived on the scene to try and resolve the situation. On arrival, the first thing I had to do was try to calm the couple involved, who were armed with blunt weapons and had a very violent attitude.

My fellow LSPD officers took it upon themselves to pacify the male suspect, while I attempted to subdue the female suspect, who attempted to flee on foot, so I had to chase her down and then use my taser to subdue her.

Things got complicated... it turned out that the male suspect surprisingly pulled out a 9mm pistol and shot one of the LSPD colleagues and the girl involved in the domestic dispute. The mistake was made by our NPC colleague who neglected his suspect. So I had to shoot down the suspect... :/

Verona Beach LSPD HQ

Before heading to Mulholland to continue my shift, I decided to stop for a mechanical check of my patrol vehicle, as it was affected after the shooting at the scene of the previous domestic dispute case.

On the way to Mulholland, I received another call from HQ, asking for assistance in a case of physical violence between a drug dealer and a prostitute in the dangerous neighbourhood of Idlewood, more specifically on Panopticon Avenue, Balla territory.

When I arrived at the scene the situation was quite heated because the dealer was physically assaulting the prostitute and the prostitute was returning the aggression, fortunately some LSPD colleagues subdued the dealer but when they went to arrest the prostitute she pulled out a 9mm firearm so the police had to react and shoot down the prostitute. On the other hand, when the cops fired, the Ballas seized the opportunity to intervene, and that is when everything went wrong.

Unfortunately, the Ballas were able to shoot down one of the LSPD officers who was caught in the back by fire from a semi-automatic Tec-9 from one of the Ballas, unable to react. Automatically my partner and I responded to the enemy fire, where thanks to our training and combat experience we managed to shoot down 4 members of the gang and escape from the scene unscathed.

As you can see in the pictures above, although the area was very dark due to the late night hours, the torches installed on my weapons were very useful to make visible and incandescent even to the vandals.

A Drive by Before our Eyes...

Despite the heavy rain, I continued to work hard during the shift. On the other hand, I made a traffic stop on a member of the Vagos Santos, aboard his Tornado, as he was driving erratically and at high speeds through the streets of Idlewood. But things were not going to be so easy, as while I was conducting the traffic stop, things got complicated again in Balla territory, as it turns out that when I asked him to get out of his car, the Vagos gang member agreed, but what he didn't know was that he was being chased by some Ballas, the reason for his erratic driving.

As I mentioned before, things got complicated when the Ballas intervened, which is why the Vago fought back, taking down a Balla in the process, but very suddenly a car drove by and executed him in a Drive By... without giving me time to do anything.

Another Night Shooting

Definitely, a lasting moment of calm during this shift was impossible. It is really difficult to operate in a territory plagued by gang members, because at the slightest encouragement, they resort to violence. For example, here the Ballas tried to take the body of their fallen friend, so they decided to open fire towards the position where I was with other police colleagues.

As a result, two more Ballas were downed.

A Standard Procedure

Finally, the standard procedure was applied for the lifting and transfer of the Tornado belonging to the fallen Vago. Therefore, the vehicle's number plate and engine serial numbers were taken and then the LSPD tow truck was called for the transfer to the car lot of the Los Santos Police Department, Central Office.

PS: The Ballas never stopped messing around in the scene :/

Using the Taser, Again

On the way to LSPD HQ, while escorting the towtrucker, we were attacked at Idlewood Pizza by rival Vagos gang members, who wanted to recover the Tornado however they could, so I had to get down to return fire and call for reinforcements to get the towtrucker to successfully escape and take the Tornado to the HQ car lot. I even had a female suspect attack our position, so I had to taser her while trying to ambush my partner.

Dawn Came, While I was Under Fire

And so, during an intense firefight in Idlewood, dawn came and with it the end of the patrol shift for the day. Another day experienced, another day survived in the ever vibrant city of Los Santos.
