Hello Everyone! #arcadecolony will be releasing a new game called Hyper Rail Blaster. Today, the DAO proposal to allocate 15M Colony tokens per year from the Arcade Colony DAO (@ac1.dao) for 5 years to support in game rewards has been approved.

Colony Rewards Distribution

The 15m Colony rewards per year will be divided as follows:

Game Rewards - 6M Colony per year
Leaderboard Rewards - 6M Colony per year
Jackpot - 3M Colony per year

Game Rewards

For the next five years, 500,000 Colony will be added to the rewards pool every month. Rewards will be determined by the Rshares (reward shares) accumulated during gameplay. At the end of the game, Rshares will be added to the Rshares pool, and Colony rewards will be distributed accordingly.

Leaderboard Rewards

The leaderboard will be ranked based on the highest scores and the number of games played. Every five days (TBD), the leaderboard will reset and the top 25 or 100 players (TBD) will receive rewards, with higher-ranking players earning larger rewards. The exact mechanics of the leaderboard will depend on game design, and further details will be announced when the game launches.

Jackpot Rewards

During the first thirty days, the highest score achieved in the game will be recorded as the all-time high score. Every thirty days thereafter, the player who beats the all-time high and holds the top position until the period ends will receive 50% of the Jackpot reward pool. If no one beats the previous high score, the jackpot will continue to grow until a new record is set, at which point the winner will claim 50% of the accumulated pool. Additional details will be announced when the game launches.

With the approval of the proposal, another step has been accomplished for the launch of the game. The next steps the team will work on are:
