[ENG/DEU] The 3/3 Rule Every Business Owner Should Know
A new article in the "Better Life" series! (Whereby "life" for me also includes "work"...) I wrote it to a friend today and realized that many people don't know about it – but everyone understands it immediately. In this article, I would like to show you a basic rule for how you can divide up your time within your business activities. And why you should – you'll understand that in a moment.

In diesem Artikel möchte ich dir eine Grundregel zeigen, wie du die Zeit innerhalb deiner Businessaktivität aufteilen kannst. Und solltest - das wirst du gleich selbst verstehen.

Regardless of the nature of your business activities, you have a variety of tasks to complete. Of course, these vary from business to business. However, the following rule is so universal that I am confident you will not find a business activity where this rule does not apply.
It may not be necessary or useful to adhere to exact thirds within your business. You will have to discover for yourself whether a third is not necessary here or there, or whether it makes sense to define a third as larger.
I considered explaining the “why” behind each third, but decided against it because I believe that if you discover the “why” yourself, you will be better able to translate the relevance and necessity of these points for yourself, integrate them into your business activities, and clarify them for yourself.
Fast egal woraus deine Businesstätigkeit besteht: du hast vielfältige Tätigkeiten, welche du erfüllen musst. Sicher variiert dies von Tätigkeit zu Tätigkeit. Aber die folgende Regel ist so universell; ich wette, du wirst keine Businesstätigkeit finden, wo diese Regel hinfällig ist.
Eventuell ist es innerhalb deines Business nicht notwendig oder sinnvoll, exakte Drittel einzuhalten. Du wirst selbst entdecken müssen, ob hier oder da kein Drittel notwendig ist oder es Sinn macht, ein Drittel-Teil größer zu definieren.
Ich habe mir überlegt, ob ich dir bei jedem Drittel auch das "Warum?" erkläre, habe mich aber dagegen entschieden, da ich glaube, wenn du selbst das "Warum?" entdeckst, du die Relevanz und Notwendigkeit dieser Punkte besser für dich übersetzen und für deine Businesstätigkeit integrieren und dir verdeutlichen kannst.

The three thirds of your time management:
1/3 Administration
In this third, you do administrative tasks. To illustrate the necessity of this third, I will list a few things that fall within it: accounting, paperwork and official correspondence, controlling, management, planning, and all those kinds of things. In short: the administrative side of your business.
1/3 Research and ongoing education
Continuing education; learning and researching, discovering and integrating new things, staying up to date with current developments, further developing your own skills or toolbox. Conducting market and customer analysis.
1/3 Earning money
This is where you ultimately earn your money. This is where you generate the hours or products that your customers and consumers ultimately pay for. This is where you generate what you exchange for value. (Yes, research results from the previous third could also be sold—but ultimately, you also have to create a marketable product for this in this third.) Marketing and advertising your activities and products also fall into this third.
And even though I wanted to leave it up to you to understand these points, I want to make one thing clear: this third has to finance the other two thirds. The financing of the previous two thirds must be secured in this third.
Die 3 Drittel deiner Zeitplanung:
1/3 Administration
In diesem Drittel tätigst du administrative Dinge. Um die Notwendigkeit dieses Drittels zu verdeutlichen, zähle ich ein paar Dinge innerhalb dieses Drittels auf: Buchhaltung, Papier- und Behördenkram, Controlling, Management, Planung und all diese Dinge. Kurz gesagt: die administrative Seite deines Business.
1/3 Forschen und Fortbildung
Fortbildung; lernen und forschen, neue Dinge entdecken und integrieren, Up-to-Date mit aktuellen Entwicklungen bleiben, die eigenen Fähigkeiten oder den Werkzeugkasten weiterentwickeln. Markt- und Kundenanalyse tätigen.
1/3 Geld verdienen
Hier verdienst du letztlich dein Geld. Hier generierst du die Stunden oder Produkte, welche deine Kunden und Konsumenten letztlich zahlen. Hier generierst du, was du gegen Werte eintauschst. (Ja, auch Forschungsergebnisse aus dem vorherigen Drittel könnten sich verkaufen lassen - aber letztlich musst du auch dafür hier in diesem Drittel ein vermarktbares Produkt erstellen.) Aber auch Vermarktung und Bewerbung deiner Tätigkeiten und Produkte sind in diesem Drittel anzusiedeln.
Und auch wenn ich dir das Begreifen dieser Punkte selbst überlassen wollte, will ich dir eines verdeutlichen: dieses Drittel hier muss die anderen Drittel finanzieren. Die Finanzierung der vorherigen Drittel muss in diesem Drittel sichergestellt werden.

Think about what happens if you neglect one of these thirds. What happens if you leave out one third? I don't want to point things out to you, but I have to in order to highlight the biggest fallacy:
“You could cut out the third on training and put that time into sales.” But then it's likely that you might generate a lot of income now, but in the long run, your product or service maybe won't stay marketable.
Take a look at the thirds and think about what happens if you don't balance these three parts. And the other way around: how do you benefit if you serve all areas appropriately? Tell me and all the comment readers what you think! Thanks!

Denke mal darüber nach, was passiert wenn du eines dieser Drittel vernachlässigst. Was passiert, wenn du ein Drittel auslässt? Ich will dir gar keine Dinge aufzeigen wie, tue es aber doch zwangsläufig, um den größten Trugschluss aufzuzeigen:
"Du könntest ja das Drittel der Fortbildung streichen und diese Zeit in den Verkauf stecken." Wahrscheinlich ist dann aber, dass du zwar jetzt eventuell viel Einkommen generierst, aber langfristig dein Produkt oder deine Dienstleistung eventuell nicht marktfähig bleiben kann.
Betrachte mal die Drittel und denke darüber nach, was passiert, wenn du diese 3 Teile nicht ausgeglichen tätigst. Und anders herum: wie profitierst du davon, wenn du alle Bereiche angemessen bedienst? Berichte mir und allen Kommentarlesern von deinen Gedanken! Danke!

To be honest: I am not very into. But I assume not very good. Because it is not easy to handly cryptocurrency here. Plus many people are very lazy... So, yes there are some dudes (which you can see on Binance P2P for example) but for example here on Hive... maybe we have 10 dudes?
I assume cryptocurrency scene or even startups is/are not really strong here.
The hardest part of management is dealing with the human mind; the more employees, the more headaches. I think analysis and other departments are pretty easy, but dealing with complex people is a pain.
When I worked in an accounting firm, there were people who would deliberately make me angry. My friend, until I got used to it and learned to deal with it, just think about how many sleepless nights.
I 100% agree. I think this is the reason why I do things better alone and have other people only for consulting. In over 98% of the cases it is better this way - at least in my case. And the 1.X percent I know since years and trust them in a big amount. For other projects it may be (obviously) different; you may need a few people. Because yes... when I think about what produced the most stress... I do what I do because I love my work. But there were times where I lost all the joy because of other people... oh no... I don't start to write a book now... Let's keep it short:
I 100% agree.
Managing everything yourself has its pros and cons. Inner peace and tranquility are among them. You control how you manage, and no one will interrupt you unnecessarily. On the other hand, you'll have to double or triple the workload. In your case, you do an impeccable job, but I see you're left with too much responsibility.

I made few WordPress plugins recently and I realized maximum game is of Marketing. And without marketing entire product or service is literally a dust. My father served as a manager and I know it's manipulation game into getting people to work for you. Business isn't easy for sure.
