Another reality that will emerge in the future | Reflection Hunters Contest Round 253 [EN-ES]

The Royal Palm is the national tree of Cuba. Seeing it, even in its reflection, evokes emotion, even though it's something commonplace.

In my case, when I've traveled abroad, I've felt the same way when I've returned to the island.

Baseball, the national sport, still excites many. In my case, I confess that it stopped appealing to me years ago, at least the version played in Cuba, so this time I'm focusing on capturing another reality reflected in water, that liquid that surrounds us as an island...

An island that some still try to cross in sandals, still with umbrellas, still leaving the Royal Palm behind...

And so the green dream remains, with the hope of discovering new stories built on pillars that reflect another reality that will rise in the future...

La Palma Real es el árbol nacional de Cuba. Verla, incluso en su reflejo, denota emoción aunque sea algo cotidiano.

En mi caso, cuando he viajado al exterior del país, he podido sentir lo mismo cuando he retornado a la isla.

El béisbol, deporte nacional, aún emociona a muchos. En mi caso, confieso que hace años dejó de atraerme, al menos el practicado en Cuba, así que en esta ocasión me centro en capturar otra realidad reflejada en el agua, ese líquido que nos rodea como isla...

Isla que algunos intentan cruzar aún en sandalias, aún con sombrillas, aún dejando detrás la Palma Real...

Y queda entonces el sueño verde con la esperanza de descubrir nuevas historias sostenidas en pilares que reflejen otra realidad que se erija en el futuro...
