Not Asking for Much…..Just Financial Immortality

Hey everyone! It’s been an incredible week, right?
A huge thanks to the admins of Hive-Reachout, @ovey10 and @emreal, for always coming up with such engaging topics

This week’s prompt on Hive-Reachout is "How Much Do You Need?", and I’ve seen so many amazing perspectives and ideas from community members. It’s truly inspiring!

We naturally choose a secure amount when someone asks us this question. A sustainable amount that helps pay off debts while replacing outdated devices and purchasing both a suitable home while also setting aside reserves for unexpected circumstances. That’s the reasonable answer. But since this is a once-in-a-lifetime, no-strings-attached money miracle, why stop at “just enough” when I can aim for financial immortality? Like I mean 😂

FINANCIAL IMMORTALITY

To understand financial immortality we need to define its meaning. Simple, it’s not just about having enough money to survive, it’s about having wealth that never dies. The kind that keeps multiplying while I sleep, the kind that funds generations (Elon's kind of wealth), the kind that makes the word “I have a budget” a strange word. You know, the type of wealth where your only financial decision will be choosing which country to just wake up in, do you know the flex that comes with that?

So, let’s talk numbers. If its a blank cheque and you know the person asking you is capable, will you say A million dollars? Well cute, but barely enough for long-term security. A billion? Tempting, but what if I get reckless?
Five billion? Now we’re talking its fair, but for true financial immortality, we’re thinking in trillions. Yes, with a T. Because let’s be real, what’s the point of wealth if it doesn’t stretch beyond my lifetime?
But before anyone calls me greedy, let’s consider the possibilities. Through financial immortality I would create enterprises to back innovative advancements , and turn most of my dreams into reality. Imagine eradicating poverty in some regions, creating scholarships, supporting start-ups entrepreneurs, and maybe resolve long-debated problems that political leaders have never managed to solve.
One advantage of being in this position also benefits you personally. First-class flights? Nah, private jet and yachts everywhere.

Price checking becomes a thing of the past as well as concerns about insufficient balance. The list of advantages includes private chefs along with special customized cars next to vacation resorts on each continent. Those irritating bank messages which says“dear customer, we have deducted XYZ” bank alerts? Yeah, those would be somebody else’s problem.
People accept mediocre life choices because society teaches them their worth is measured by tiny agreements. But me? If I get one shot at naming my price, I’m going all in. Because when life gives you an unlimited blank check, the only wrong answer is settling for less.

I like that part where you mentioned that people settle for mediocre life style just because the society has change thier mindset to settle for less. Think big dream big that's how it should be. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece

Thank you! I’m really glad that part stood out to you. It’s easy to get caught up in what society expects, but I truly believe dreaming big is key. Appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts!

Actually good to go for what's best for you without settling for less or what the society wants of you because at the end it's you versus you and your problems..

Exactly! At the end of the day, it’s all about what’s best for you. Everyone has their own way of seeing things, and it’s so important not to settle just because of the way people thinks.
