School taught us many things, except the reality that school is really not the key to success. Education is not a scam, but it's not the real key to success.

Don't get me wrong, please read with me. It is important to go to school, but I personally think that having a business or skills are more important. My reason is because, in our world today, or in my own side of the country, one won't get a job just by merit; you need a very strong connections to work, but for skills, putting in your best will get you whatever you want or need, without any single connection.

I personally think schools should put more effort into teaching the children skills rather than just reading and writing. In this country of mine, you need connections for a white-collar job and not a brain.

Eighty percent of people you see in the street today doing trading, carpentry, tailoring, and many more are really not illiterate; some are actually graduates, but because of how the country is, they ended up like that.

I am a graduate from one of the universities in Nigeria. But no job, so i choose farming. To help myself.

So I feel like school should teach more on skills. In essence, I'm not saying people shouldn't go to school but should embrace skills too in case of future disappointment.

Not everyone is even meant to do a white-collar job. There are some people who, if you give them a book, no matter how simple it is, they won't understand what is there, but when you give them business, they can even do better than someone who read business administration in school.
