From Hospital Waiting to Pizza Cravings

After a long time, I have come to share something with you all. A very big gap came between Hive and my life. I actually like sharing my valuable moments with you, and these posts get saved as memories for a lifetime. There are many benefits. For example, in the past two months I did a lot, but I could not record it. Blogging and Hive posts become memories that I and my friends can search and see later, what I did and when, with pictures as proof. That was the reason I joined Hive, but because of life’s busyness, Hive got a bit lost. Still, I try hard to stay connected, and because of my job in Neoxian City, I manage to come on Hive on weekends. Thanks to Mr. D.

Now I will share about today, which was very busy and good. In the morning I had to go to the hospital with my wife for some tests, so I had to go late to the office. At 8 AM I first dropped the kids at school, came back home, had breakfast, and then by 10:30 we left for the hospital. When we reached, we found out the doctor would come after 11:30 and there were already five patients before us, which meant about two hours of waiting.

To use this time, my wife and I went to “celebrate Valentine’s Day,” hahaha. I mean, I had been craving pizza for many days and there was no chance, so we took this opportunity. We took a rickshaw to a nearby market, but we forgot this is Karachi, markets usually start opening around 11–12. While walking around Bahadurabad market, we found Broadway Pizza open, so we went there.

I was really in the mood for pizza, so my wish came true. It was the first time I was eating pizza right after breakfast. I remembered I had eaten pizza at this time before, but not outside. When I was in Sweden, my sister-in-law used to make pizza and freeze it, and I secretly ate many slices at odd times, heating them in the microwave early in the morning. But that was 12–13 years ago.

After seeing the menu, I ordered a trio box that had a regular pizza, pasta, a pizza wrap, and two dips. My mouth was watering. Our order was served and we enjoyed it together. I ate more, to be honest. My wife didnt like the pizza wrap, but I liked it a lot, fresh and yummy. The pasta was good and the pizza was mind-blowing. Usually we go out to eat as a whole family and that is more fun. We did eat well, but it was not as enjoyable as when everyone is together. Maybe that’s why it felt strange, I am just not used to it.

After that, we roamed around the market a bit and got tired, so we took a rickshaw back to the hospital. Luckily, we reached on time, our turn was next and we got the tests done. However, the reports took a little more time. After that, we went back home where the kids were waiting for their mom. My father had picked them up from school as usual. Meanwhile, I went to the office since I was already late. That’s how my day passed.
