BE UNDERSTANDING OF PEOPLE'S EMOTION

‎We should try to understand people instead of jumping to conclusions. If we can't understand others, how can we understand ourselves? Sometimes we speak without thinking and hurt others, without grasping their situation.

‎Sometimes I don't blame people for being guarded with their thoughts and feelings knowing they might be used against them. It's puzzling when others are emotionless and untrusting and it's often rooting in past experiences. We shouldn't be quick to judge them as selfish without understanding their story.

‎I remember a friend who lived with someone who wasn't a relative. She would do whatever the woman asked, to the point where the woman's opinion became hers. she became confused and forget who she was. She trusted the woman so much that she'd share even the smallest things, but surprisedly, the woman would talk negatively about her behind her back.

‎When she has money, she'd share it but guess what, the woman was ungrateful and still complained that she was selfish and only cared about herself. I told her to move forward, she needs to reflect on her life, sit down, think deeply and ask herself "where do I really want to be" instead of living someone else's opinion or trying to live their life instead of her own.

‎If you share your personal struggles with others, they might use that information to insult you, when you have problem with them. Knowing someone's weaknesses can give others power over them. people often exploit weaknesses to threaten or control others, which is unacceptable.

‎ Don't take advantage someone just because they're staying with you. Some people feel like they're superior, acting like they're indispensable. We should try to understand others, putting ourselves in their shoes to see things from their perspective. Let's build each other up, not tear each other down. It's okay to keep some things to yourself, discretion can be a form of self-care.
