Hello dear community. I hope everyone is doing well and for others who are experiencing extremely hot weather, may you always keep safe and protected.

It is terribly hot today, well as what I learned from the news it was forecasted that we should be expecting hotter days for a longer duration of time. I would say, the hot weather we are experiencing right now is way more extreme compared to previous years. Thus, like many, I can't help but conclude as well that the climate is really changing.

Despite the extremely hot weather, nothing can stop us from sharing good news of hope to people in the community. We actually start early in the morning and end before the weather gets hotter. We also make sure to bring umbrellas and drinking water to keep us safe from the heat.
Today's territory is in a Barangay located on a mountain side. I like the place because there is a lot of trees as you walk along the road, so we could still feel a bit of coolness and find protection under the shade of the trees.
More than anything else, we are happy to find people who are responsive to the good news we share with them. Despite being busy, they gave time to hear us out. I am so happy to meet new people and gain new friends. I love it when people express their worries that shows they trust you with how they also feel. I feel happy to listen to people as they share their concerns and afterwards share some hope that would help them remain positive despite current hardships. One of the best feeling is when people express their gratitude for visiting them.
We ended the morning's activity and as we walk down the mountain, I spent time talking with friends, encouraging one another and appreciating each others hard work, zeal and sacrifices. We do this because we love the people and we love our God.

As we reached the base, we rested first in a friend's house and I got to meet their cute dog named shy. He is literally shy and a bit sad because his real owner left him for a vacation. He was left under someone else's care. I find him cute so I took a picture of us. I enjoyed petting Shy until my brother came and we decided to go home.

As I rode our motorbike, I wondered why my brother went on another direction from home only to find out, he took me for some halo halo treat. It is a famous dessert in the Philippines perfect for hot weather. It is a flavored shaved ice with some ingredients and fruits combined. It was a yummy treat and I was grateful to my brother. After finishing a glass of halo-halo, we decided to finally go home.
Today was a fun and happy day. Hope you also have a nice one too.
Thanks for reading, until next time. Love, Nes.
