I was really feeling lazy this morning that I felt like I would just like to lay in bed and do nothing. But we have an important thing to do-visit people in the community and share with them the beautiful message in the near future that would truly bring us comfort despite these chaotic and difficult times. So in the end, I decided to move myself and prepare to go out.

And so my mood really lit up. The heavy feeling I was feeling earlier turned peaceful as I walked alone the streets and enjoyed the views of the mountains and the clear skies. I never mind the hot weather.
When I reached the venue of our pre-service meeting, I was glad to be welcomed by my brothers and sisters in faith. Their smiles were contagious and so we laughed and shared words of encouragement while waiting for the rest of our members before starting our volunteer work.

The time to start has came we started the meeting and then after the assignment of partners we were ready to go to the field.
I loved today's field territory. We discovered a new community and it was my first time coming here. The path is wide and quiet as only few vehicles passes these road. On the left side is the sea with mangroves. On the right side on the way ahead you would see the clear mountain view, and ricefields. I love the ambiance that it gives-simple peaceful life sorrounded by nature. How I wish to live here. The people we visited were friendly and they let us in. It has been a joyful walk. After visiting all of the houses we took time to take some pictures.

It is time to go home, so we went back to our track to find our other members who were visiting people on the other side of the community. We went after them and saw them with a plastic full of fish. They got to meet fishermen who just came from fishing with lots of fish. They got to buy some fresh fish on a very cheap price. We were all amazed and grateful for the unexpected blessing. Aside from the fun volunteer work, we felt materially rewarded.

So some of us agreed to gather for lunch together at a friend's house and make soup from the fish that was bought. Upon arriving at our friends house, everyone helped on the lunch preparation. Some cleaned the fish, others prepared for the ingredients while others started setting up the fire for cooking. Everyone is so excited for the lunch. I am also starting to get hungry because I did not take my breakfast.

And so the moment we were all waiting for finally came. A fresh soup of fish! Also a plate of fish stew! Looked so delicious. Of course before eating, we prayed altogether to thank God for the successful event, for the great company and material blessing we received.
It was such a good day. Thus, indeed, when you seek first God's kingdom and all other things will be added-Matthew 6:33

Good thing you still go on ministry despite that lazy feeling hehe. That's part of our imperfections. Anyways, it's always joyful after we conquer it. Surely, JH knows how much you loved him. 🥰
thanks sis😍
