Errands and shopping for the weekend

Hello friends. Welcome to my blog and my first post in 2026. I hope we all made it to 2026 in good health, and that the year is progressing great for all of us. This weekend was for errands and restocking for me and I thought to do it early before noontime when the supermarket and local groceries stores would be crowded because its weekend and we all know that most people do most of their shopping during weekends. Sometimes I like to do my shopping before weekend if I'm chanced, so that I don't have to go through weekend rush and queues to make payments.

So, I went to bokku-mart to get some drinks, toiletries and groceries. I selected different varieties of drinks and made sure to compare prices so as to know if it's profitable for me or not. I noticed some of their prices had change because of the inflation in my country. I got what I wanted and then moved to the toiletries section. I got a relaxer for my hair, I just like to have it handy incase of an emergency quick fix hair. I used up the last one on 27th of December so I was happy to replace it.

When I got to the store, there wasn't much people around because I went early but to my greatest surprise I saw a queue at the payment section. I had no choice but to wait on queue for my turn and after about 10 to 15 minutes it got to me, I paid and left with my purchases.

I left from there and went to the bank for some transactions. Since it's weekend, I had to use the ATM to get some extra cash I would for the weekend.

That was how I spent my day running errands and shopping. I got back home and faced my chores before cooking and having a me time.
