SHINE BRIGHT: A TREK DAY

Today was a trek day for me! My day started quite early. I had a class by 8am so I had to wake up early to get ready for the class so I don’t go late. Luckily for me, I was able to get to the lecture theatre before 8am and the lecturer came just a minute after I stepped in. I was really happy because since this week started, it has been a struggle for me to meet up early with most of my classes especially my 8am classes but I’m glad I ended the week well.

After less than 30 minutes when the lecture started, the lecturer was interrupted by a co lecturer and after their conversation, he told us that he would terminate his lecture at that point. I wasn’t happy about it but there was nothing anyone could do about it. And since we had another lecture by 9am, it was not a biggy. It was already 30 minutes past 9am and the other lecturer was yet to come. My course mate and I had plans of going to register for a course so we decided to go for the course registration instead of just sitting down waiting for someone who might end up not showing up (surprisingly he didn’t show up which is a bit unusual).

The place was quite far from our lecture theatre but we chose to walk down to the place and by the time we got there, I was already feeling tired because the sun was scorching. Well, luckily for us, the crowd was not so much and we were able to register in less than 20 minutes. After we were done, we decided to go back to our lecture hall because we were also supposed to have a class by 11am. When we arrived at the lecture hall, we realized that another lecture was ongoing in that lecture theatre so we had to wait outside. After some minutes, we got the information that the class was cancelled. Somehow, almost all our classes for today were cancelled.

Well, well, we had so many other things to do with that free time. As direct entry students, we had some challenges with a few things so our course adviser has advised us to go to the school general technical office to resolve the problem since it was a technical problem. Today was just the perfect day for it. We were so lucky to meet one of the most polite persons to attend to us and in no time, we were done. When we got outside the place, I decided to take some pictures of the place as I always do when I visit that place because I don’t always go there, hehe.

My friend and I took a few photos of ourselves and some were nice and the others weren’t, lol. In the end, we took a bus home and while I was going home, my course mate said she has other things to do so we parted ways. Walking on my street home, I bought mangos which I ate almost immediately I got home. After that, I prepared palm oil rice and beans. Once I was done eating, I rested a little and decided to share a brief rundown of how my day went on my blog. For me, it was just as productive as other days and I’m really grateful. I still have some work to do which I will do after getting some rest, hehe.
